As we have two air conditioners I actually purchased two of these systems but regrettably before Amazon had them on-line–retail was $159.99. Grrr. Just the same my family is glad I bought them as my wife suffers from allergies and the kids always were getting colds. I was sold on the proven science of UV-C light killing the germs, old and allergens going through our HVAC system. The fact that they use a Phillips ultra-violet bulb assures me of high quality operation.The great news was how easy they were to install. I installed one unit and my daughter installed the other and she is definitely not a DIY person. Both installs took less than 15 minutes. The company even supplies the drill bit needed for the installation.Added bonus is that our system runs more efficiently without accumulated bio-film that would previously collect on the coils which is now killed off by the UV-C light.
